The reason this is the case is the average person simply don't find many indie games attractive, no matter how good they may be. ![]() ![]() With a few exceptions, almost all of them get very few downloads. There are (I think) quite a good amount of high quality, very good indie games on Game Pass (that also have high Metacritic scores - Pentiment, anyone?). Other examples that hammer this point home are indie games. Sure, you'll get people who are curious and want to check it out but by in large, people who aren't interested in the game will simply never download it. Just because it's on Game Pass doesn't mean people are going to automatically download a title. ![]() ![]() The game still needs to be appealing to people. At the end of the day, Hi Fi Rush is simply not a very mainstream title that appeals to most, average people. ![]()
